• Team: Works collaboratively with the Proposals team, internally known as a Bid Desk Associate.
• Mission: Solves the problem of securing new business and growing revenue by utilizing bid and quote discovery strategies for school districts throughout the United States.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office/G Suite of Application, internal bid software
What You’ll Actually Do
• Secure Business: Contact and secure new business by employing a bid or quote discovery strategy.
• Discover Opportunities: Collaborate with the Proposals team to discover new business opportunities.
• Determine Strategy: Work to determine the optimal bid strategy for identified opportunities.
• Create Quotes: Develop and create quotes for discovered opportunities to foster overall business growth.
• Respond to Bids: Craft responses to SLED RFP/Bids, adhering to established processes and demonstrating strong attention to detail.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum qualification: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Career level: Entry-Level, designed for recent college graduates with a desire to enter the IT industry.
• Experience: Work experience in any market. Demonstrated self-motivation and disciplined approach to work.
• Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, phone, and presentation skills. Ability to work under pressure, organize, and prioritize responsibilities. Strong attention to detail when building quotes and responding to SLED RFP/Bids. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/G Suite applications and the ability to quickly learn internal bid software.
• Bonus: Willingness to participate actively in coaching and knowledge exercises.
