The Tone:
This is a contract-to-hire role at a growing labor & employment law firm, located 100% remotely. The firm is seeking an entry-level attorney who is based in and licensed in California to join their team. This position offers the opportunity for a First-Year Associate to develop their legal career within the firm’s specialized practice areas.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Practice: Maintain an active CA Bar license for legal practice.
• Location: Reside and work remotely from within California.
• Transition: Successfully complete a three-month contract period for conversion to a direct hire role.
• Application: Apply legal knowledge obtained from an accredited law school.
• Specialization: Cultivate an interest in employment law and/or workers’ compensation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; Entry-level career status as a First-Year Associate.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required for this first-year attorney role.
• Skills: Active California Bar license; Residence within California.
• Bonus: Interest in employment law or workers’ compensation.
