The Tone:
This is a remote, hourly role at Aldridge Pite, LLP. Aldridge Pite is a multi-state law firm that utilizes technology to create efficient workflows with its financial institution clients, including banks, credit unions, mortgage servicing concerns, and institutional investors. This role as a PCN Processor is vital for managing payment changes, resolving impediments, and ensuring the accurate and timely handling of client files across all practice areas. What You’ll Actually Do
• Payment Change Processing: Determine if payment changes are warranted, obtain necessary documents, prepare notices for attorney review, then file, serve, and update applicable client systems.
• Impediment Management: Review and monitor the Payment Change Impediment Inventory, frequently following up and escalating until resolution is achieved.
• Client Data Interpretation: Review and interpret client systems to accurately update data according to client expectations.
• File Monitoring: Regularly monitor reports generated by both internal systems and client systems to ensure files are handled smoothly and timely.
• Billing and File Closure: Verify that billing has been entered as needed on each file and subsequently close files accordingly.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Requires a High School Diploma.
• Experience: Proficiency in using software tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.
• Skills: Proficient with numbers and basic accounting; Excellent communication skills; Detail-oriented and highly organized; Proactive and able to work independently; Provides exceptional customer service.
• Bonus: Basic understanding of the fundamentals of Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcies.
