What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with Senior Associates, Managers, and group Partners to effectively support and balance multiple client needs, ensuring clear and timely communication across various channels.
• Daily Financial Management: Manage client bill payments, process invoicing, and apply cash receipts in a timely and accurate fashion to maintain smooth financial operations.
• Account Reconciliation & Closing: Perform thorough bank and general ledger account reconciliations, actively investigating and resolving any reconciling items, and assist with the precise execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for diverse clients.
• Payroll & System Implementation: Efficiently run client payroll, reconcile related journal entries, and actively assist with the setup and implementation of new accounting systems and procedures tailored to specific client needs.
• Project Support: Provide essential assistance with various ad hoc accounting and reporting projects, contributing to both client-facing initiatives and internal operational improvements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position for a graduating college student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, with an academic record demonstrating a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience: Demonstrated extensive experience and proficiency with key accounting software platforms including QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Expensify, Gusto, Justworks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client and coworker interaction, excellent computer skills, and robust project management abilities coupled with a highly organized personality and strong attention to detail.
• Adaptability: A flexible and adaptable attitude essential for navigating new situations, embracing change, and efficiently learning and utilizing new accounting software.
