What You’ll Actually Do
• Core Accounting Management: Perform and manage day-to-day bookkeeping and fundamental accounting functions to ensure the smooth financial operation of the business.
• Financial Transaction Processing: Efficiently process all accounts payable and accounts receivable, accurately recording and managing the company’s incoming and outgoing financial transactions.
• Record Reconciliation and Verification: Regularly reconcile bank statements and other financial records, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all accounting data, and verify entries in company systems.
• Administrative Financial Support: Provide crucial assistance with payroll-related activities, maintaining meticulous financial records and comprehensive documentation for compliance and clarity.
• Leadership Reporting & Strategic Support: Support ownership and management by assisting with key financial reporting, various administrative tasks, and contributing to the successful completion of month-end and year-end accounting processes and broader business needs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a closely related field, though recent graduates are particularly encouraged to apply.
• Experience: Prior bookkeeping, accounting, or internship experience is considered a valuable asset and a plus, but it is not a mandatory requirement for this role.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational capabilities; proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite, with particular expertise in Microsoft Excel; a proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain a professional and reliable approach; and a strong willingness to continuously learn.
