What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate any variances identified.
• Process: Process and accurately maintain all accounts payable transactions.
• Assist: Prepare journal entries and provide support for month-end close activities.
• Support: Support accrual accounting processes and complete necessary account reconciliations.
• Analyze: Analyze financial data and meticulously maintain accurate accounting records.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, ideal for an entry-level professional. Possesses a solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles, including debits and credits, accruals, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliations.
• Experience: Approximately 1+ years of accounting experience or a strong accounting internship is necessary.
• Skills: Demonstrates strong Excel skills, including proficiency with formulas, lookups, and data analysis. Exhibits detail-oriented precision, strong organizational capabilities, and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: Experience with bank reconciliations and accounts payable is preferred.
