Enterprise Security, Risk and Compliance Co-Op/Internship | Locus Robotics

The Tone:
This is an internship at Locus Robotics, located in Wilmington, MA. Locus Robotics builds AI-powered systems and intelligent robots that keep global supply chains running, combining advanced AI, real-time decision-making, and autonomous robotics to improve efficiency and adapt to change. This role offers the opportunity to launch a career in cybersecurity, risk, and compliance, gaining hands-on experience supporting real-world security, audit, and compliance initiatives. The TL;DR

• Pay: $20–$30 hourly
• Mission: To support real-world security, audit, and compliance initiatives by assisting with artifact gathering, documentation, and process enhancements.
• Tech Stack: MS Office applications

What You’ll Actually Do
• Artifact Collection: Assist in gathering compliance and audit artifacts across different functional areas to satisfy audit, risk, and control requirements.
• Documentation Management: Support documentation gathering, formatting, and publishing for internal customers.
• Process Enhancement: Aid in solution deployments designed to enhance and mature existing processes and procedures.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate collaboration by properly tracing and identifying appropriate business process and system owners, and enabling necessary discussions.
• Risk Support: Collect, format, and present security risks and vulnerabilities to support remediation plans and activities, including third-party risk management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university studying business administration, computer science, legal studies, security, audit, or engineering.
• Experience: A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. Ability to work a hybrid role (Mon-Fri, 9 am-5pm) for the specified co-op period, requiring three (4) days per week onsite.
• Skills: Intermediate or higher level understanding of technology. Proficient in MS Office applications. Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor and affinity for teamwork.
• Bonus: Previous internship experience in information security or Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
