Enterprise Risk Management Intern Job Description
This internship offers a chance to gain valuable experience in risk management, with a focus on operational and enterprise risk management principles.
Who should apply?
• College students currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, pursuing a four-year degree or a master’s degree program full-time.
• Four-year degree students should be completing their sophomore, junior, or senior year (graduating between spring 2025 and spring 2027).
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is highly preferred.
• Students majoring in Risk Management are highly preferred, as well as those with strong writing and analytical skills.
About the Internship:
• The internship includes orientation to the company and the insurance industry, offering a variety of challenging assignments in a stimulating work environment.
• You will be assigned a personal mentor and participate in a variety of educational, social, and community service events with other interns.
• You will have opportunities to network with senior leaders, including the CEO.
• Relocation assistance may be available to those who qualify.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct research and analysis of internal and external information to support ERIE’s Operational Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Management programs.
• Gain an understanding of risk management principles.
• Learn about risk response techniques, including analyzing insurance needs.
• Gain experience in using risk management technology and reporting on ERIE’s current and emerging risks.

Qualifications:
• Minimum Educational Requirements: High school diploma, or equivalent, required. Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree with completion of the sophomore year in a relevant field required.
• Additional Experience: Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software preferred.
