Engineering Research & Development Internship

About the Internship:

This is a 3-4 month paid learning experience designed to immerse you in a dynamic professional environment. From day one, you’ll contribute your ideas, build meaningful skills, and participate in hands-on projects that make a real impact on our business and the world around us.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with various research, testing, and evaluations.
  • Processing documentation and conducting data analysis.
  • Conducting manufacturing audits.
  • Attending department, team, and project meetings as necessary.
  • Assisting with process improvement projects tied to manufacturing.
  • Collaborating with other engineers, teams, and departments.

What You Bring:

You possess the ability to identify a problem and conceptualize a solution. You bring a combination of design and hands-on experience to prototype solutions for various manufacturing issues. You are a collaborative team player, capable of working effectively with others across the organization to find the best possible solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in one of the following fields:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Manufacturing Engineering
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Supply Chain
    • Bioengineering
    • Petroleum Engineering
    • Aerospace Engineering
    • Biomedical Engineering
    • Or a related field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Strong interest in manufacturing, process improvement, or product design.
  • Skills or coursework in areas such as:
    • CAD/3D modeling
    • Machining
    • Data analysis
    • Lean/continuous improvement
    • Automation
  • Anticipated Graduation of May 2027.
