Engineering/Manufacturing Co-op_Summer 2027 | GE Appliances, a Haier company

The Tone:
This is a seasonal internship program at GE Appliances, a Haier company, located in LaFayette, GA. You will contribute to the production of ovens/ranges while developing leadership potential and technical skills within a supportive environment.

The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Goal Setting: Set objectives and goals for your co-op rotation in collaboration with your assignment leader.
• Leadership & Influence: Lead teams across various levels of the business by employing influencing skills.
• Process Improvement: Utilize initiative to identify, develop, and implement process improvements.
• Project Support: Assist your team with the development and execution of project ideas and initiatives.
• Problem Solving: Apply an analytical approach to solve problems and demonstrate the ability to work independently.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related fields.
• Experience: Entry-level. Must have a December 2027 or later graduation date and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• Skills: Demonstrated analytical approach to problem-solving, initiative, strong communication skills, and effective teamwork abilities.
• Bonus: Previous co-op or internship work experience, and demonstrated leadership roles on campus or in the community.
