Job Description: Engineering Internship / Co-Op (Plattsburgh, NY):

Michelin is offering 2025 Engineering Internship/Co-op positions at its Plattsburgh, NY site. Interns will work on project teams, focusing on:

Data analysis: Analyzing data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
Production improvement: Contributing to efforts to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
Quality performance improvement: Working to improve quality control and product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, support, and direction to production operators to achieve common objectives.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and cross-functional teams to meet performance goals and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor facility needs to ensure succession planning and employee development opportunities.
• Facilitate the identification and implementation of process and team improvements.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to work in an industrial plant environment (Monday-Friday, day shift).
• Professional interaction skills with partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
• Ability to work effectively in teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Full-time enrollment at an accredited four-year college or university.
• US citizenship, permanent residency, or authorization to work for Michelin indefinitely (no sponsorship available).
