Job Description: Engineering Intern
This internship is based in East Hartford, CT and is part of ATI’s Internship Program designed to provide a rewarding experience focusing on experiential learning, professional development, and professional networking. Interns will gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with teams. Projects and skills are guided by experienced ATI professionals.
Responsibilities:
• Support Engineering Staff: Act as a technical resource for engineering managers, supporting projects and quality improvement initiatives. This involves performing routine tasks related to engineering standards, gathering and analyzing data, updating and creating work instructions within engineering software, and contributing to process improvement and cost reduction efforts.

Basic Qualifications:
• Sophomore status or higher in college.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in Mechanical Engineering).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Microsoft Office and CAD/CAM software (e.g., UG, Mastercam, or SolidWorks).
• Machining experience and understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
