Engineering Internship Description
Opportunity: Constellation is offering paid engineering internships at their nuclear locations in Illinois for the summer of 2025.
Duration: 10 weeks, starting June 3rd and ending August 8th, 2025.

• Braidwood Nuclear Power Plant – Braceville, IL
• Byron Nuclear Power Plant – Byron, IL
• Clinton Nuclear Power Plant – Clinton, IL
• Dresden Nuclear Power Plant – Morris, IL
• LaSalle Nuclear Power Plant – Marseilles, IL
• Quad Cities Nuclear Power Plant – Cordova, IL
• Cantera Corporate Office – Warrenville, IL
Internship Focus: Interns will work on specific projects, gaining real-world experience under the guidance of a supervisor and technical mentor. Examples of past projects include:
• Cooling Tower Drone Inspections
• Nuclear Core Analysis
• Control Circuit Wiring Design for Feedwater Pump
• Thermal Overload Calculation for Motor Operated Valves
• Seismic Monitoring Instrumentation Upgrade
• Weld Overlays Calculations on Feedwater Heater
• Hydrogen Electrolyzer Project
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Engineering program for the Fall of 2025.
• Major in Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum GPA: 2.8 Cumulative AND 3.0 Major
• Demonstrated academic excellence
• Strong teamwork skills
• Creative and analytical problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
