About the company and job description:

Lensa is partnering with NEO Tech, a company based in Chatsworth, CA. They are seeking a professional to assist their engineering documentation and control and technical writer. This role involves transferring and generating manufacturing process instructions from their current manufacturing execution system to a new tracking system.

Job Description (Detailed):

The core responsibility is to help transition manufacturing process documentation into a new system (Aegis).

Key responsibilities include:

Creating Aegis Assemblies: Transferring Bills of Materials (BOMs) from Epicor to Aegis and verifying the successful transfer.
Process Flow Management: Copying process flow templates to newly created assemblies and modifying them to match the specific assembly process flow.
CAD Integration: Importing CAD data into the new assemblies.
Component Verification: Reviewing component polarity within the new assemblies.
Process Step Assignment: Assigning components to their appropriate process steps.
Instruction Updates: Updating process pages with existing special instructions, utilizing copy/paste or Aegis editing tools.
Document Verification: Ensuring the completeness of newly created Aegis documents.

Qualifications:

Communication & Cooperation: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Software Proficiency: Strong understanding of Microsoft Office software.
Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize based on deadlines.
Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills.
Teamwork & Motivation: Must be a team player and highly motivated.
Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
