Description: Engineering Aide

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time, entry-level/hourly Engineering Aide in Boulder, CO. This role involves a variety of tasks centered around engineering documentation and support:

Documentation Generation: Creating engineering documentation, reports, drawings, flowcharts, block diagrams, schedules, and schematics.
Team Collaboration: Participating in daily and weekly team meetings to discuss technical, scheduling, and operational issues; contributing to weekly status reports for programs and management.
Technical Review and Analysis: Reviewing technical documents to identify and resolve discrepancies; performing requirements analysis.
Coordination and Presentations: Coordinating technical exchange meetings and developing presentation materials; participating in peer reviews.
Problem-Solving: Tackling detailed technical assignments, often requiring the development of planning and integration skills; performing design assessments and developing data-driven solutions. This includes utilizing project planning and product life cycle management skills.

Required Currently pursuings:

• Associate degree in a STEM field, related work experience, and/or technical training. Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered.
• US Citizenship (required for security clearance).
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Desired Skills:

• Coursework in engineering and/or project management.
• Strong presentation skills, able to clearly and concisely present information to management and customers.
• Ability to work independently within a team, managing multiple priorities and internal customers.
• Proficiency in project planning and product life cycle management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar applications.

Security Clearance: A government security clearance is required for this position; US Citizenship is mandatory. The clearance level is Secret.

Work Arrangements: This position offers part-time remote telework, with the specific schedule determined during the hiring process. Lockheed Martin offers various alternative work schedules, including a 4×10-hour day option with three days off per week.

Compensation and Benefits: The salary range is specified, with variations based on location.
