Job Description: Employer Branding Social Media Intern – NYC (Summer 2025)
This paid internship ($19/hour) is a 11-week program, with two possible start dates: June 2nd or June 9th, 2025. It’s a hybrid role, requiring regular in-office presence in NYC based on the intern manager’s schedule. The intern will work 35-40 hours per week. Relocation is not provided.
The intern will support the global employer branding team, which is an extension of the Talent Acquisition team. The team’s objective is to showcase WBD as an attractive employer and entice top candidates to apply for open positions.
Responsibilities include:
• Daily posting and social engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Managing the content calendar using a social media management tool (like Sprout).
• Reporting on social media data and content performance, iterating future content based on results.
• Recommending new social media trends and content opportunities for the @WBDLife account.
• Generating creative and unique content ideas, and executing them.
Qualifications:
• Experience managing brand/corporate social media accounts (particularly LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok).
• Proficiency with social media management tools (like Sprout).
• Ability to adapt to and embody the brand’s tone and voice online.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and collaborative spirit.
• Content creation experience is a significant plus.
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university program (proof of enrollment required), be a rising junior or senior (18 years or older), and maintain a 3.0 GPA or above (transcript required if offered the position).
• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship. Students on student or exchange visas are ineligible.
The internship aims to provide a comprehensive, hands-on experience, including mentorship, professional development seminars, networking opportunities, and access to top-level executives. The program emphasizes professional growth and providing real-world experience within the entertainment industry.
