The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at Merck, located in Rahway, NJ or West Point, PA. • Tech Stack: Microsoft Word, Data Analysis, Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Integrated Project Management, Process Design, Environmental Scanning, Financial Analysis, Portfolio Management, Category Management, Risk Analysis, Risk Management.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Gain diverse experience: Build a strong foundation through three unique rotations over three years, gaining hands-on experience across procurement, supplier management, workplace services, business operations, and digital strategy.
• Drive operational excellence: Work on meaningful projects that support innovation, operational excellence, sustainability, and business growth across global operations.
• Collaborate globally: Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders across the company’s global network, supporting discovery, clinical trials, and manufacturing.
• Develop professional skills: Develop professional, communication, analytical, and project management skills through real-world experiences in areas like strategic sourcing, category management, and risk management.
• Shape workplace environments: Contribute to initiatives that shape the future workplace through real estate planning, facilities management, workplace services, and employee experience.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of a high school diploma with at least 2 years of professional experience, demonstrating leadership abilities and a commitment to advancing Merck’s vision and mission.
• Experience: Proven ability to quickly learn, adapt to new roles, teams, and situations, and manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Skills: Analytical Thinking, Adaptability, Project Management, Process Improvements, Data Analysis.
• Bonus: Strong communication skills (both in-person and in writing), a self-starter with a strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a diverse and inclusive culture.
