STEP Associate (Sales Rotational Program) | Echo Electric
The Tone:
This is a full-time, 12-month rotational program at Echo Electric, located in Columbus, OH. Echo Electric, a brand owned by Sonepar, is a leader in electrical distribution, representing over $1.2 billion in sales across a significant multi-state region. The Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals Program (STEP) is designed to educate, train, and develop essential skills in emerging professionals, establishing their careers within the organization. This program provides critical hands-on experience in every aspect of the business, fostering a comprehensive understanding to develop future leaders.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Warehouse/Logistics: Gain practical experience in optimizing inventory management and distribution processes within warehouse operations.
• Inside Sales/Counter: Develop customer service and sales support capabilities while processing orders and providing product expertise at the counter.
• Projects & Quotations: Learn to manage the full lifecycle of customer projects, from initial inquiry to generating accurate product quotations.
• Marketing/Digital Solutions/E-Commerce: Contribute to the execution of digital marketing strategies and enhance the overall online customer experience.
• Outside Sales/Specialty Track: Cultivate client relationships and drive sales growth through direct customer engagement and specialized sales approaches.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional with a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
• Skills: Demonstrated excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; and a flexible, adaptable approach as a team player.
