The Tone:

This role is crucial for enabling Financial Advisor teams to achieve their growth objectives, manage their practice effectively, and deliver an exceptional client experience through strategic execution and operational oversight. • Team: Key contributor to a Financial Advisor team
• Mission: Creating strategy and ensuring execution related to multiple metrics and priorities across the team’s business plan and goal deliverables.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Strategy: Partner with Financial Advisors to develop, implement, and execute the team’s business plan, ensuring alignment with growth objectives and firm priorities.
• Practice Financials: Manage and track practice financials, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, providing insights and reports to Financial Advisors.
• Performance Tracking: Establish and maintain quantifiable business and activity goals, analyze data to identify trends, and develop reporting dashboards to track progress.
• Client Service: Oversee the execution of the team’s client service model and experience strategy, ensuring consistent delivery of a high-quality, personalized client experience.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate team assignments, workflow, and key initiatives, acting as a central point of organization for projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level with a High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent. Requires a thorough knowledge of the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management business functional area and its products, along with a working knowledge of general bank policies, programs, procedures, and financial/accounting practices.
• Experience: Prior experience managing risk and making sound decisions within industry regulations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, root causes, and implement improved processes. Ability to obtain Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) licenses and an approved designation within a specified timeframe if not currently held.
• Skills: Strong leadership abilities, communication, and delegation skills; thorough understanding of the suite of Wealth Management products and services; proven ability to manage risk and make sound decisions; strong analytical skills; ability to influence and demonstrate strong leadership through clear communication and collaboration.
• Bonus: Expertise in customer experience improvement, project management, sales performance management, strategy planning and development, business acumen, and continuous improvement.
