Delek US Holdings is a boutique-sized diversified downstream energy company focused on petroleum refining and logistics across various assets. This role provides an Electrical Engineering student with hands-on experience, supporting departmental initiatives and contributing to key business operations while gaining valuable industry insight.

• Mission: To support the Electrical Engineering department by assisting with day-to-day activities, project work, and analysis, gaining insight into overall business operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Assist with daily activities, project work, and analysis to further departmental objectives.
• Engineer: Contribute to small instrument and electrical projects under professional guidance.
• Plan: Help prepare and plan for upcoming refinery turnaround events.
• Investigate: Aid in the investigation of equipment failures and operational trips.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and good academic standing.
• Experience: No prior professional experience or licensure is required for this early career internship.
• Skills: Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles; solid proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to record and present data in a clear, concise manner.
• Bonus: Strong written and verbal communication skills; good organizational and interpersonal skills; a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multitask; willingness and desire for continual learning and self-development.
