What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Creation: Create and revise document files for a diverse range of construction projects across multiple industries.
• Calculation Generation: Develop engineering calculations and documents utilizing industry-standard software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SKM Power Tools, AmpCalc, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Specialized Studies: Conduct specialized engineering studies for short circuit analysis, overcurrent protective device coordination, arc flash hazard assessment, duct bank conductor ampacity, and cable pulling.
• Skill Development: Actively participate in training sessions designed to enhance proficiency with industry-specific software programs, governing design and construction codes, specification writing, and best design practices.
• Field Support: Visit various construction jobsites to provide assistance with field investigations, drawing verification, and other essential on-site tasks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in the Engineering field.
• Experience: No prior professional experience required, as this is an internship designed for professional development.
• Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration; natural aptitude for solving complex problems; high level of organization, prioritization, and attention to detail; capability to exercise utmost confidentiality and discretion.
• Bonus: Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
