• Mission: Provide essential support for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the Electrical Distribution System, preparing for potential advancement.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide necessary tools, materials, and supplies to journeyman line workers.
• Safety: Ensure strict adherence to all safety rules, regulations, and procedures on worksites.
• Operation: Operate and maintain commercial motor vehicles, ensuring they are properly stocked for assignments.
• Preparation: Prepare equipment and worksites to facilitate the effective completion of electrical distribution assignments.
• Equipment Operation: Operate various types of construction equipment used in the construction process, such as diggers and aerial devices.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career level with a GED or HS diploma. Must be 18 years of age at the time of application.
• Experience: Must obtain a Class A CDL learner’s permit within 1 month and a Class A CDL within 6 months of employment. Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus an appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience, will be considered.
• Skills: Strong aptitude for developing communication, technical, and mechanical abilities, along with the ability to perform heavy labor outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Bonus: Ability to respond within one hour of a call for overtime is strongly preferred.
