EHS digital leader | Airbus
The Tone:
This is a fixed-term, entry-level role at Airbus Defence and Space, located in Getafe (Madrid). Airbus Defence and Space is dedicated to promoting a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace. This role is crucial for driving the digitalization, innovation, and continuous improvement of EHS processes and systems, leveraging cutting-edge technology to achieve workplace safety and sustainability. The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary EHS team, collaborating with IT, operations, and external vendors to lead digital transformation initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Management: Manage and evolve EHS dashboards and KPI data, ensuring accurate deployment, data integrity, and robust governance policies across systems.
• Solution Implementation: Identify, evaluate, and implement digital solutions and technology roadmaps to enhance overall EHS performance, compliance, and process efficiency.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, HR, Operations, Maintenance, and external vendors) to design, deploy, and integrate EHS software tools and reporting platforms.
• Change Leadership: Lead change management initiatives to drive a digital-first mindset across the EHS population and foster the adoption of new tools.
• System Modernization: Extend the deployment of AI features and monitor emerging digital trends to continuously modernize EHS systems, supporting data analytics and system integration, aligning EHS digital projects with corporate IT architecture and business objectives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position. Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Computer Science, or related field), Environmental Sciences, or Health & Safety.
• Experience: Proven experience in digital transformation, EHS system integration, data analytics, or software implementation.
• Skills: Strong change management capabilities, high adaptability to new technologies, ability to work in a collaborative, networking mode, advanced level of English (written and spoken), expertise in EHS management software, dashboarding/data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), AI applications, and data governance.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety / Environmental Management, or prior experience integrating EHS tools with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, HR platforms).
