The Tone:
This is an unpaid, part-time internship at cupl, a fully remote company. cupl is a relationship care app designed to eliminate guesswork and strengthen love lives, starting with romantic relationships. The company aims to provide a solution for relationship maintenance, addressing the current lack of resources beyond therapy or casual advice. This role is crucial for introducing cupl to new users, sparking initial interest, and gathering real-world feedback to shape its early growth trajectory and user engagement strategies as the app just launched.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Part-time, Temporary (10-15 hours/week for 3 months)

• Team: Works closely with the founding team and cohort of interns.
• Mission: To experiment with various outreach methods to spark interest, initiate conversations, and ensure cupl reaches the right individuals at the opportune moment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Direct Outreach: Engage with individuals, community leaders, and various groups to introduce the cupl app and cultivate interest in trying it.
• Experiential Marketing: Develop and test real-world (IRL) outreach strategies through channels such as clubs, communities, personal networks, and events.
• Social Media Engagement: Initiate contact with new people across social media platforms to encourage them to download and experience the app.
• Insight Gathering: Provide direct feedback to the founding team on what messages and approaches resonate, what does not, and general observations from real-world conversations.
• Strategic Learning: Learn firsthand how early-stage startups approach exposure and growth without relying on predefined scripts, quotas, or rigid playbooks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, genuinely excited by the mission of cupl and the world it is building.
• Experience: No specific prior experience required, but a strong comfort level with approaching and conversing with both known and unknown individuals is essential.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong written communication skills, the ability to follow async directions independently, and a proactive self-starter mentality essential for operating in a remote-first environment.
• Bonus: Potential for top performers to transition into more permanent roles as cupl matures and expands.
