Job Description

Job Summary
As the e.l.f. SKIN Brand Marketing Intern (e.l.f.tern), you will play an integral role within the brand marketing team. This position involves contributing to high-impact initiatives that are crucial for the ongoing success of the e.l.f. SKIN brand. The role provides valuable hands-on experience across various key areas including go-to-market (GTM) planning, the briefing process, event coordination, and providing support to retailers and sales teams. You will have opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally, develop creative ideas, and assist in supporting campaigns from their initial concept phase through to execution.

Key Responsibilities
Sampling Campaigns: Assist in the development and execution of targeted sampling initiatives. This includes collaborating with the marketing team to identify ideal audiences, crafting compelling messaging, coordinating logistics, and analyzing performance data to optimize future campaigns.
Go-To-Market Support: Work closely with the brand marketing team to build and implement comprehensive GTM plans for new product launches and seasonal campaigns. This will provide exposure to brand strategy development and the process of achieving cross-functional alignment.
In-Store Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide support to field representatives operating at various retailers, including Ulta, Walmart, Target, various Drugstore Chains, and Shoppers Drug Mart. Responsibilities include assisting with the sourcing of Gift With Purchases (GWPs), samples, and branded giveaways to enhance in-store engagement.
Event Coordination: Provide support for the execution of both internal and external events. This encompasses influencer activations, product education moments, and various brand showcases.
Competitive Market Research: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends in both the mass and prestige beauty sectors. Share insights and provide recommendations with the brand, social, and digital teams to help inform and shape campaign direction.
Reporting & Presentations: Assist with the creation of marketing reports, deck building, and cross-functional recaps. This support is vital for effectively communicating campaign results and performance insights to relevant stakeholders.

• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms is considered a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
