E-Business Specialist | HORNBACH

The Tone:
This is a contract role at HORNBACH, located in Libeň (Prague), Czech Republic. HORNBACH operates the largest DIY e-shop, and this role contributes to its ongoing optimization and adaptation. As an E-Business Specialist, you will be instrumental in enhancing the online presence, understanding customer behavior, and expanding into new markets like Slovakia. This position is a fixed-term contract for one year, covering for parental leave with a planned return.

What You’ll Actually Do
• E-shop Optimization: Optimize the e-shop for search engines (SEO).
• Customer Reporting: Report on customer habits and set reports in the right direction.
• Market Adaptation: Participate in adapting the group’s e-shop to the conditions of the Slovak market.
• Project Testing: Test brand new and hot HORNBACH projects.
• Collaboration & Marketing: Communicate daily within the team and with other regions across Europe, alongside broad involvement in marketing activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Secondary school education. Early career.
• Experience: Ability to understand and manage marketing activities.
• Skills: Flawless written expression in Slovak language. Communicative level of English or German. Meticulousness and good spelling.
• Bonus: Creativity, patience, and a sense of humor.
