Job Description:
This is a Summer Internship opportunity with CBRE (not directly with Lensa). Specifically, it is a DSF (likely Debt & Structured Finance) Summer Intern position within CBRE’s Advisory Segment. This is a full-time internship located in Irvine, California.
The internship is designed for current college students (undergraduate or graduate) pursuing a career in commercial real estate. It aims to provide a well-rounded knowledge of the commercial real estate business and valuable skills through working with CBRE professionals. The program emphasizes accelerated learning and development, offering a foundation for a commercial real estate sales career and exposure to coordinated service lines. Participants also engage in learning and development activities specifically designed for interns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct company, property, and industry-specific research.
• Lead and update prospects in an internal tracking database.
• Assist in developing and preparing marketing and presentation materials.
• Track local and regional activity (economy, employment statistics, company activity, industry trends, and demographics) affecting the local real estate market.
• Contribute to projects in support of business development.
• Provide support with current deals, including market surveys, proposal reviews and summaries, lease reviews, and financial analysis.
What You’ll Need (Qualifications):
• Current college junior, senior, or graduate-level student graduating in 2026.
• Desire to work in the commercial real estate industry.
• Experience with MS Office (intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel).
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to network and interact professionally with internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with Argus, Salesforce, and Tableau is a plus.
