The TL;DR

• Location: In-person – Southeast Asia

• Team: Audit professionals within the SEA Audit & Assurance Division
• Mission: Provide external audit services and related financial advisory to a diversified portfolio of clients across Southeast Asia.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide external audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including public listed companies, MNCs, local conglomerates, financial institutions, and SMEs across Southeast Asia.
• Engage in specialized financial advisory work, such as initial public offerings (IPOs), due diligence, and special investigations.
• Maintain personal performance and accountability, contributing to the team’s priorities and the business’s success.
• Develop effective communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
• Commit to personal learning and professional development, understanding Deloitte’s business fundamentals and offering fresh perspectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Degree in accounting or a recognized professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of external audit experience.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail, proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, resilience and adaptability, and a growth mindset.
• Bonus: Exposure to a variety of industries within external audit.
