Job Description:

This is a gateway posting for the Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge Program at Quality Technology Services, LLC (QTS). Lensa is promoting this job for QTS. It is not a direct hire position with Lensa, nor is Lensa a staffing firm for this position. This internship is an unpaid opportunity for service members transitioning out of the military. The purpose of this posting is to collect candidate information and match applicants with suitable internship roles across the business. If selected, the intern will work with the SkillBridge program coordinator to determine the final internship plan based on the intern’s goals and the company’s opportunities. This internship does not guarantee employment upon completion.

Key Responsibilities (examples, may vary by placement):

• Support departmental projects and daily operations with guidance from mentors.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to collaborative initiatives.
• Conduct research, perform analysis, and support documentation or reporting.
• Shadow team members to gain an understanding of functional operations.
• Participate in training related to the assigned business unit.
• Provide feedback to help improve processes or workflows.

Requirements:

• Currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces and eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge Program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with initiative and curiosity.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Specific qualifications or technical skills may be required depending on the final placement.
