• Team: Warehouse team, coordinates with Supervisors
• Mission: This person coordinates and ensures the correct placement of products on grocery docks for efficient loading.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Product Coordination: The Dock Setter coordinates and ensures the proper placement of products on grocery docks, preparing them for loading onto outgoing shipments.
• Communication and Management: They maintain clear communication with Supervisors to effectively manage and adapt to any changes in load requirements or schedules.
• Documentation and Assignment: Obtain accurate door numbers for outgoing loads from the designated work area to facilitate organized staging.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered equipment to ensure products from outlying areas are accurately and efficiently placed at the correct dock doors.
• Safety Adherence: Consistently work in a safe manner to prevent injuries to personnel and to avoid damage to products throughout the staging and loading process.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must be at least 18 years of age. This role necessitates the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, ensuring comprehension of work instructions, safety protocols, and essential communications.
• Experience: The position requires the ability to perform accurate visual inspections of products and their placement. Experience in operating powered equipment to efficiently move products to designated dock doors is essential for this role.
• Skills: Key personal attributes for success include being organized, a proactive problem solver, and strongly teamwork oriented. A high degree of safety consciousness and meticulous attention to detail are also critical for thriving in this warehouse environment.
• Bonus: A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
