Director of Rehabilitation | ClearView Healthcare Management

• Team: Reports to the Regional Director of Operations.
• Mission: Oversee the rehabilitation department to ensure exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, and fiscal objectives are met.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office applications, basic internet navigation

What You’ll Actually Do
• Staff Leadership & Development: Supervise, orient, train, evaluate, and counsel department employees to maintain high standards of performance and patient care, including assisting with the interview and hiring process for rehabilitation staff.
• Clinical & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with organizational and facility-specific policies, federal and state regulations, and infection control standards, overseeing accurate and timely documentation that meets all regulatory and payor requirements.
• Financial Management: Manage departmental revenue and expense controls to meet budgetary expectations, ensuring accurate assessment, reporting, and billing of services while understanding relevant payment models.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate department functions with other services to promote strong interdisciplinary collaboration, and communicate effectively with administration regarding department goals, risks, outcomes, and performance.
• Quality Assurance & Professional Growth: Participate in utilization review, quality assurance, care conferences, admission, and rehabilitation meetings, and continuously enhance clinical expertise and leadership skills through ongoing professional development.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Degree in therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a licensed therapist or therapy assistant; appropriate licensure required for discipline.
• Skills: Effective clinical problem-solving and decision-making; Staff supervision and talent management; Financial management, including revenue, expenses, and billing; Regulatory compliance and accurate documentation; Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
