What You’ll Actually Do
• Guide Operations: Provide guidance across Global Markets Treasury and Securities operations by fostering a cooperative culture that supports both business goals and employee development.
• Direct Daily Activities: Direct the daily activities of the Treasury and Securities teams, ensuring operational efficiency through communal practices and interpersonal communication.
• Lead Transformation Projects: Lead complex projects such as GMO Transformation, Outsourcing, New Product/System enablement, and regulatory-related initiatives.
• Ensure Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with policies and procedures, AML, BCP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements by nurturing a responsible approach to risk management.
• Drive Performance Improvement: Apply external market knowledge, benchmarks, and insights to identify opportunities for performance improvement while sharing best practices across teams.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Tertiary education or above, specializing in foundational knowledge relevant to banking operations, particularly in treasury and securities. This is a Director-level position.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in banking treasury and securities, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Skills: Sound knowledge of treasury and securities products and regulatory requirements, proven ability to operate effectively within a global structure, strong incident management, problem management, and service management experience, operational risk expertise, and excellent communication, relationship management, and influencing skills in both Cantonese and English.
