• Mission: Lead and manage a complex portfolio of high-value international contracts and pursuits, providing strategic contractual and risk mitigation guidance for global business activities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert in all aspects of international contracting, primarily Direct Commercial Sales (DCS).
• Manage: Manage a large volume of complex, high-dollar pursuits and contracts spanning multiple customers and international regions.
• Guide: Provide business, contractual, and risk mitigation leadership for DCS and international contracts across the full contract lifecycle.
• Lead: Lead cross-functional proposal and negotiation teams in the pursuit, negotiation, award, and administration of major contracts.
• Represent: Represent the company in exchanges with senior customer leaders and support in-country international pursuits through estimated 30% international travel.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience, or a Graduate Degree with 13 years, or 19 years of related experience without a degree, serving as a senior contracts leader in commercial and International Direct Commercial Sales (DCS).
• Experience: 10+ years relevant experience negotiating, drafting, and administering complex International contracts, with demonstrated experience in Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and international contracting.
• Skills: Expertise in international contracting (primarily DCS), contract lifecycle management, negotiation, risk mitigation, cross-functional leadership, excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Fluency in one or more languages in addition to English (Spanish strongly preferred), MBA or other advanced degree, experience supporting international subsidiaries or global business operations, familiarity with INCOTERMS, working knowledge of export control regulations (ITAR, EAR), familiarity with Trade Finance and banking concepts (bonds, letters of credit), demonstrated ability to travel and interact across diverse cultures, and proven success working with senior-level customer and internal executives.
