Area General Manager | Integrated Power Services

The Tone:

• Mission: Owns the profit and loss for coil and motor manufacturing, driving operational, safety, profitability, sales, and customer satisfaction objectives across key value streams.

What You’ll Actually Do
P&L Management: Manage the profit and loss for OEM coil and motor manufacturing, driving performance across safety, operations, profitability, sales, and customer satisfaction.
Operational Leadership: Lead and develop three key value streams—shop repair, new motor manufacturing, and coil manufacturing—managing both in-store and field operations, including staffing and performance assessment.
Strategic & Financial Planning: Develop and implement commercial strategy and the annual operational plan, proactively monitoring financial, sales, cost, and service trends to achieve objectives.
Culture & Talent Development: Establish and maintain a values-driven culture, recruit and develop a high-performing team, and enhance employee engagement through servant leadership.
Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements and uphold the IPS quality management system, meeting ISO and industry standards for customer satisfaction.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in engineering, supply chain management, operations management, business, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 7 years combined general management or operations experience within an industrial services company specializing in rotating equipment. 3 years of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma problem-solving experience. 5 years managing large-scale projects. A cumulative total of 10 years of experience across these disciplines is required.
• Skills: Excellent communication with all stakeholders; demonstrated leadership in planning, organizing, resource, and talent management; ability to analyze data to identify industry, market, and service center trends; technical aptitude for managing complex asset repair across diverse clients and product lines; and proven ability to lead change initiatives and foster process excellence.
• Bonus: Prior experience in motor repair and application. MBA and Lean certification.
