Digital Marketing Intern | Indiana Fever
The Tone:
This is an internship at Indiana Fever, located in Indianapolis, IN. The company oversees a variety of sports and entertainment brands, including the Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, Noblesville Boom, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse. This role is crucial for assisting the digital marketing team in creating impactful marketing emails, developing mobile app content, and driving content ideation. This position helps enhance fan experiences and grow digital engagement across all brands.

• Team: Digital Marketing team, collaborating with Ticketing, Customer Insights & Engagement, Brand Marketing and Corporate Partnerships.
• Mission: To assist in developing and executing digital marketing strategies across various brands, focusing on email, mobile app, and content ideation.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred).
What You’ll Actually Do
• Email Marketing: Create and distribute marketing messages to targeted customer segments, including Pacers Season Ticket Holders, Fever MVPs, and newsletter subscribers.
• Mobile App Content: Develop and implement content into the official Pacers and Fever mobile apps.
• Database Growth: Develop fan acquisition programs to expand digital follower and subscriber databases.
• Content Ideation: Assist in general content ideation and execution across brands and platforms.
• Performance Analysis: Track, report, and analyze email/app Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, open rates, click-throughs, A/B testing results, and total revenue.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled in a college or university program as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
• Experience: Required experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, with an emphasis on Photoshop.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, high attention to detail, ability to cope with high-pressure situations, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bonus: Experience with email marketing platforms, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
