The Tone:
This is a remote internship program offered by OpenDor Media, specifically under its Amplified brand. The program is a 10-month, cohort-based experience designed for college students passionate about social media and eager for hands-on experience in digital storytelling. The role is critical for amplifying impactful stories and fostering engagement among global audiences regarding Israel and Israeli culture. Participants commit approximately 1–3 hours per week, in addition to attending monthly virtual training sessions, and receive a $1,000 stipend. This unique opportunity provides students with direct exposure to media professionals and successful content creators.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Engage in active collaboration with a diverse cohort of peers across various campuses, working together to develop and execute content strategies for Israel-related material.
• Create: Design, develop, and produce original digital content, including various media types, specifically focused on highlighting aspects of Israel and Israeli culture for social media platforms.
• Share: Implement effective strategies to share the created digital content about Israel and Israeli culture across designated social media channels throughout the entire academic year, ensuring broad reach and visibility.
• Engage: Proactively interact with and cultivate engagement among global online audiences through social media, utilizing compelling content to spark conversations and foster understanding of Israel-related stories.
• Develop: Participate consistently in ongoing training sessions and benefit from direct mentorship provided by experienced media professionals and successful content creators. This engagement aims to build and refine practical skills in digital storytelling, content creation techniques, and effective online engagement strategies within a real-world, dynamic setting.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled college student. Demonstrated interest in media, communications, marketing, Israel advocacy, or other closely related academic or extracurricular fields.
• Experience: A strong and demonstrable passion for leveraging social media platforms for communication and storytelling purposes.
• Skills: Foundational or developing skills in digital storytelling, content creation, and online engagement strategies.
