Job Title: Diesel Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice

Clean Harbors Kingston, MA is seeking a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice to join their safety-conscious team! This position offers a fantastic opportunity to assist experienced mechanics in the building and fabrication of specialized Vacuum Trucks.

Responsibilities
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
- Assist senior mechanics as needed and directed.
- Perform warehouse duties as directed.
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on company vehicles and equipment.
- Complete daily checklists as required.
- Maintain the facility through housekeeping duties.
- Perform other duties and tasks assigned by management that are required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
Qualifications
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
- High School diploma with career technical education.
- Secondary Trade school preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- 1+ years prior experience working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
- Must provide your own basic tools.
- Related mechanical certifications preferred (not required).
- Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire.
