Clean Harbors Kingston, MA is seeking a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice to join their safety-conscious team! This position offers a fantastic opportunity to assist experienced mechanics in the building and fabrication of specialized Vacuum Trucks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
• Assist senior mechanics as needed and directed.
• Perform warehouse duties as directed.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on company vehicles and equipment.
• Complete daily checklists as required.
• Maintain the facility through housekeeping duties.
• Perform other duties and tasks assigned by management that are required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.

Qualifications

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• High School diploma with career technical education.
• Secondary Trade school preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• 1+ years prior experience working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Must provide your own basic tools.
• Related mechanical certifications preferred (not required).
• Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire.
