About the Job: HVAC Installation Apprentice / Junior Installer

Triple-T Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric is a community-focused business with over 45 years of experience in heating, air conditioning, air quality, and plumbing services. We are committed to customer satisfaction and are expanding our team by seeking an HVAC Installation Apprentice or Junior Installer.

The successful candidate will work with a variety of HVAC equipment manufacturers, system parts, and mechanisms. You will assist a HVAC Lead Installer in installing premium HVAC systems, which includes upgrading and improving ductwork, replacing components, and adjusting system controls for optimal performance using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment. This role is ideal for individuals at any stage of their career, from those just starting out to those with some experience looking for growth.

  • Compensation: $18 to $38 per hour, based on experience.

What You’ll Do

As an Install Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Lead Installer to deliver top-tier service:

  • Assist in duct fabrication & installation.
  • Follow precise instructions and adhere to all job site safety protocols.
  • Help track materials and labor for each project.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What You Bring

  • Prior HVAC experience is highly valued; however, entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are also encouraged to apply.
  • Basic HVAC understanding and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Self-motivated with a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Physical Requirements And Work Environment

  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50-75 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs repetitively.
  • The job requires working in cramped spaces like attics and crawlspaces, involving frequent bending, crawling, and kneeling.
  • Ability to climb and work safely from ladders.
  • Must be able to work in various environments that can be hot, cold, dusty, or dirty.
  • Physical ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and work for extended periods without becoming overly fatigued.
