Developer Intern, Front-End Platform – Fall 2026 | 1Password

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Temporary (4 months: September to December 2026)
• Location: Remote (Canada or US)

• Team: Front End Platform team, a cross-functional group of developers and designers.
• Mission: Help teams achieve higher efficiency, consistency, and scalability when building 1Password products.
• Tech Stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Figma

What You’ll Actually Do
• Building: Assist the team in creating React components based on Figma specifications.
• Implementation: Implement newly coded components into customer-facing applications.
• Standardization: Contribute to defining standards and best practices for developing frontend code at 1Password.
• Tooling: Develop and utilize tools to streamline the design and development process for new features.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing an academic path related to software development.
• Experience: Exhibits confidence in undertaking new challenges and seeing them through, humility to ask questions and learn from mistakes, curiosity to seek improved methods, and a strong commitment to teamwork.
• Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React for building frontend components.
• Bonus: Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices; experience with Git, SSH, 1Password Command Line Tool, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud providers.
