Job Description: Design Intern

This internship with Equator provides an opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of various creative functions within a packaging design agency. The Design Intern will support the Creative team and assist with special creative projects, gaining knowledge of creative, account, production, and photography teams. The intern may participate in larger-scale projects across multiple functions and mentor first and second-year interns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports the day-to-day operations of the Design department, developing an understanding of its administration, policies, procedures, and processes.
• Gains exposure to various assessments and resources.
• Works primarily with and supports the Design Division.
• Helps create and develops design elements.
• Provides assistance with special projects as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in a design-related field at a recognized college or university.
• 2 years (summer, semester etc) participation in prior internship program required
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.
• Must have a current driver’s license.
