What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Support: Provide comprehensive design support to interior designers and business partners on active projects.
• Project Documentation: Prepare project documentation, track orders, and assist with scheduling deliveries and installations.
• Financial and Procurement Assistance: Order samples, prepare budgets, and learn to generate proposals and purchase orders under designer direction.
• Design and Drafting: Perform CAD drafting, including the creation of furniture layouts and ensuring appropriate proportions.
• Administrative and Organizational Tasks: File and maintain client directories, notebooks, and digital files according to office standards, organize the resource library, and manage small administrative errands.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess an Interior Design degree from a CIDA accredited school.
• Experience: Have 0-2 years of experience in design or a design-related field.
• Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCad or AutoCadLT, show knowledge and ability in creating furniture layouts and proportions, and exhibit excellent communication skills.
