What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Leadership: Direct and manage the overall efficient running of the revenue department, ensuring all operational processes are streamlined and effective. This includes setting clear objectives and monitoring departmental performance against key metrics.
• Strategic Alignment: Implement and uphold Hyatt International’s Corporate Strategies within the department’s daily activities and long-term planning. Ensure that all revenue-generating initiatives are congruent with the company’s overarching strategic vision.
• Brand Standard Compliance: Maintain rigorous adherence to Hyatt’s established brand standards in all departmental outputs and interactions. Guarantee that the quality and consistency of services reflect the high standards expected across the global brand.
• Stakeholder Satisfaction: Proactively work to meet and exceed the expectations of all critical stakeholders, including departmental employees, hotel guests, and company owners. This involves fostering engagement, enhancing service delivery, and optimizing financial returns.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates are required to possess a strong academic foundation, ideally demonstrated by a university degree in a relevant field such as Strategic Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism Management. This educational background should provide a comprehensive understanding of core principles essential for revenue leadership within the global hospitality sector.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of substantive work experience is essential. This experience must be in a dedicated managerial capacity, specifically as a Revenue Manager, Marketing Manager, or Marketing Analyst, demonstrating a proven track record in relevant operational or analytical roles crucial for revenue generation and strategy.
• Skills: The successful candidate must possess a strong strategic orientation, showcasing the ability to think broadly and develop long-term plans that align with corporate objectives. Additionally, excellent problem-solving skills are critical for navigating complex challenges and making data-driven decisions.
