Job Overview

As a Deli / Bakery Associate, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the preparation of high-quality products for our valued customers. You will be a key point of contact, engaging directly with customers at the service counter, providing assistance, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. A crucial part of your role involves managing incoming merchandise, efficiently moving it from delivery to the salesfloor to maintain stocked and attractive displays. Furthermore, maintaining impeccable cleaning standards and strict adherence to food safety guidelines are paramount to the success of the Deli / Bakery team and crucial for customer well-being.

Compensation

  • Hourly Wage: $17 – $30 per hour. The actual hourly rate will always meet or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
  • Performance Incentives: Eligibility for annual or quarterly performance-based incentives.
  • Premium Pay: Additional compensation in the form of premiums may range from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour. These premiums can be based on specific circumstances such as your work schedule, the facility you work in, seasonal demands, or particular tasks performed. Multiple premiums may be applied if you meet the criteria for each.
