This position is for the Global Pricing Strategy team at Visa, which is central to Visa’s business objectives. The team is responsible for managing pricing to drive revenue growth of Visa’s network and increase the adoption of its value-added services globally. It is a small but impactful team that provides pricing expertise, collaborates with cross-functional teams and product owners, and works with global leaders and executives to develop pricing solutions and drive revenue growth.

The candidate will specifically support workstreams related to Visa Inc.’s pricing strategy, with a primary focus on end-to-end US debit deal execution. This role requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills to quickly generate recommendations for strategic deals.

Essential Functions:

Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis: Provide rigorous quantitative and qualitative analyses, being trained as a deals analyst to support deal proposal structuring and modeling. This includes detailed training on deal modeling, incentives structuring, and analysis of important deal metrics from both the client’s and Visa’s perspectives.
Pricing and Deal Construct Development: Develop pricing and deal constructs for acceptance agreements with merchants and payment service providers.
Deal Generation and Execution Management: Manage various aspects of deal generation and execution, including business case development, stakeholder impact assessments, securing management approvals, and supporting contract negotiations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various cross-functional teams such as product, interchange, finance, legal, and sales. Provide pricing expertise and best practices for deal management. Collaborate with Visa account executives to understand specific client needs, requests, existing contractual situations, and competitive factors. Participate in internal review and approval processes for active deals, addressing financial questions.
Senior Management Exposure: Deliverables and recommendations produced will be reviewed and assessed by Finance and Sales leadership, extending up to Visa’s senior management.
