This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of vehicle sales and maintaining healthy accounting records, directly supporting dealership operations and overall business health.

• Mission: Ensures vehicle sales are accurate, complete, and properly posted, supporting clean and healthy accounting records for dealership operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deal Processing: Post vehicle deals (new, used, wholesale, dealer trades, fleet) to maintain smooth dealership operations.
• Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile factory program funds, warranty, and floorplan schedules to ensure financial data accuracy.
• Invoice Management: Post vehicle invoices into CDK, accurately capturing all transaction details.
• Commission Calculation: Accurately calculate commissions to be paid based on sales performance.
• Reporting Support: Assist in preparing monthly financial statements through detailed reconciliations and support fiscal year-end audit processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Accounting degree or experience in an accounting support role.
• Experience: Proficiency in building, maintaining, and reconciling spreadsheets. Prior experience in dealership accounting is a plus.
• Skills: Strong Excel proficiency, accurate and timely paperwork processing, attention to financial data detail.
• Bonus: Ability to debate VLOOKUP vs. XLOOKUP functions in Excel.
