Job Title: Data Operations Intern/Analyst (Salesforce Focus)

Role Overview:

This role involves critical support for data hygiene and integration efforts, primarily focusing on Salesforce data. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of essential business data, working cross-functionally with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data cleanup and deduplication tasks, primarily within the Account and Opportunity objects in Salesforce.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively to manipulate, analyze, and reconcile data from Salesforce instances.
  • Identify and document data discrepancies, inconsistencies, and gaps.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining project tracking sheets and status logs.
  • Support other ad hoc tasks related to the Salesforce integration and ongoing data hygiene efforts.
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders from Operations, Sales, and Technology teams to ensure data quality and alignment.

Requirements:

  • Current undergraduate student (rising junior or senior preferred) or a recent graduate.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, filtering, conditional formatting, and pivot tables.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • A self-starter who can maintain focus and productivity on repetitive or task-heavy work.
  • Demonstrated interest in business systems, data integrity, or CRM platforms (prior Salesforce experience is a plus but not required).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with data hygiene concepts (e.g., handling duplicates, data normalization, data validation).
  • Possesses an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
