Data Integration Operations Manager | Mizuho

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Mizuho, located in a hybrid capacity in the USA. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation and integrity of Mizuho’s critical data flows, specifically owning the Central Database and strategic DEAL Integration points, thereby driving operational efficiency and reliability for the firm’s financial operations.

• Mission: Own end-to-end data integration operations to ensure seamless system connectivity and data integrity across critical data flows.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Ownership: Own end-to-end data integration operations, including batch workflows and pipelines, ensuring seamless system connectivity and data integrity.
• Execution Assurance: Ensure timely and accurate execution of critical business hour integration processes for Mizuho’s Central Database and strategic DEAL Integration points.
• Performance Management: Monitor and uphold Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) across multiple systems of record.
• Production Management: Manage production support, incident resolution, and operational risk for data integration processes.
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of integration processes and operational controls, partnering with stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial level with strong knowledge and proficiency in data integration, operations, and enterprise platforms.
• Experience: 7-10 plus years of experience in data integration, operations, and enterprise platforms, with demonstrated experience leveraging a wide variety of data analysis/integration tools. Strong expertise in batch processing, data pipelines, and system integrations is required.
• Skills: Strong knowledge and proficiency in data extraction, transformation, and analytics tools; strong operational governance, SLA management, and risk management skills; ability to partner effectively with business, operations, and cross-departments.
• Bonus: Finance/Banking experience is preferred, along with balanced prioritization and execution skills.
