Beyond valuations, P&A also provides essential IT services, encompassing the development of appraisal and tax collection software, hardware implementation, mapping, and robust printing and mailing solutions. The Data Entry Clerk plays a critical role in supporting this broad range of services by ensuring that all property and tax-related data is accurately entered, maintained, and readily accessible, which is fundamental to helping clients manage precise, compliant, and efficient tax-related processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Entry & Maintenance: Accurately enter, update, and maintain a wide range of property and tax-related data within company systems and databases, ensuring all records reflect the most current information.
• Document Verification: Methodically verify source documents for accuracy and completeness before data entry, upholding high standards of data integrity and preventing errors.
• Record Organization: Systematically organize and file both electronic and physical paper records, ensuring easy retrieval and adherence to company record-keeping protocols.
• Administrative Assistance: Provide essential administrative support by preparing routine reports as needed and efficiently responding to internal and external information requests regarding property and tax records.
• Team Collaboration & Standards: Actively collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of data entry projects, strictly following established quality and confidentiality standards across all tasks.
• Customer Support: Assist with customer inquiries related to property and tax records, providing accurate information and courteous service as required.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, demonstrating foundational readiness for office responsibilities.
• Experience: Demonstrated familiarity with standard office software, including spreadsheets and databases, is essential for managing and manipulating data.
• Skills:
* Strong Typing skills for efficient and accurate data input.
* High level of Computer Literacy to navigate company systems and databases effectively.
* Administrative Assistance skills to support comprehensive data management and various office tasks.
* Solid Communication and Customer Service skills for clear internal collaboration and professional client interactions.
* Exceptional Attention to detail and accuracy in handling both numerical and text-based property and tax data.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and consistently work effectively within an on-site team environment.
• Bonus: Additional coursework or practical experience in office administration or data entry is preferred; prior experience with tax or appraisal systems is a distinct advantage.
