What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Design and build data transformations efficiently and reliably for purposes such as reporting, growth analysis, and multi-dimensional analysis.
• Implement: Design and implement reliable, scalable, robust, and extensible big data systems that support core products and business functions.
• Establish: Establish solid design and best engineering practices for both engineers and non-technical people.
• Optimize: Build, optimize, and grow one of the largest data platforms in the world.
• Experience: Gain hands-on experience on all kinds of systems within the data platform ecosystem.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Candidates should be graduating December 2026 onwards with the intent to return to their degree program after completing the internship.
• Experience: Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026. Prior experience with Big Data technologies. Experience in performing data analysis, data ingestion, and data integration.
• Skills: Proficiency with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, M/R, Hive, Spark, Metastore, Presto, Flume, Kafka, ClickHouse, and Flink. Ability to perform data analysis, ingestion, and integration tasks.
• Bonus: Experience with ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Loading) and architecting data systems. Experience with schema design, data modeling, and SQL queries. A genuine interest in technologies within the Big Data area.
