What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Transformation: Design and build efficient and reliable data transformations for purposes like reporting, growth analysis, and multi-dimensional analysis.
• System Implementation: Design and implement reliable, scalable, robust, and extensible big data systems that support core products and business functions.
• Engineering Practices: Establish solid design principles and best engineering practices for both technical and non-technical staff.
• Hands-on Experience: Gain practical experience across various systems within the data platform ecosystem.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026. Experience in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, M/R, Hive, Spark, Metastore, Presto, Flume, Kafka, ClickHouse, and Flink.
• Skills: Performing data analysis, data ingestion, and data integration.
• Bonus: Experience with ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Loading) and architecting data systems. Experience with schema design, data modeling, and SQL queries. Self-motivated interest in Big Data technologies.
